ASK is the first point of call for any Wrexham University student support needs. If you have a question or aren’t quite sure which service you need then please complete this quick query form and we’ll be in touch.

All of our systems, bar Careers and Employability, are back up and running and ready for students to use. Please click the team you want support from below and click ‘Student Log In’.

Careers & Employability

  • Provide support and guidance to students on careers related matters
  • Host an online job boards for both full time and part time jobs
  • Host events and create opportunities for students to help develop their employability skills

Counselling & Mental Health

  • Short term therapeutic support from trained counsellors or mental health practitioners
  • Free and confidential sessions that can take place either in person or via Microsoft Teams

Inclusion & Disability Support

  • Support for students who have a disability, long term health condition, menta health condition and/or specific learning differences
  • Offer guidance with reasonable adjustments and support students to access Disabled Students’ Allowance

Funding & Money Advice

  • Support and guidance on Student Finance or NHS Bursary and how a change of studies can impact student funding
  • Advise on eligibility for bursaries and/or grants
  • Administer the student hardship fund

Student Wellbeing

  • Support for students experiencing both personal and academic issues impacting their studies
